Pay a Parking Ticket

Parking tickets are generally available for payment by noon. the first business day after the ticket is issued.

Payments can be made online, by mail, or in person with Bend Municipal Court.

Use Bend Municipal Court’s Online Services to pay your ticket online.

  • Accepts Debit/Credit Card or eCheck only.

Pay by Mail

Checks or money orders (no cash) may be mailed to Bend Municipal Court.

  • Make check or money order payable to City of Bend.
  • Include the Ticket number on the Memo line of your check.
  • Do not send cash.

A 24-hour secure drop box is located at the Municipal Court entrance, at the bottom of the ramp to the north.

Contest a Parking Ticket

If you believe your parking ticket was issued in error, you may contest it by entering a plea with Bend Municipal Court.

Ways to enter a plea:

After a Not Guilty plea is entered, the Court will schedule your trial. Trial options include:

  • Virtually (online video conference)
  • Trial by affidavit (written testimony)
  • In-person appearance

Important: Once a ticket has been paid, it can no longer be contested.

After 14 Days

Parking tickets must be paid or contested within 14 days of the date it was written.

If no action is taken within 14 days:

  • The Municipal Court will find you responsible for the ticket and add a $50 Failure to Appear fee to your balance.

After that:

  • You’ll have 30 more days to pay before the balance is sent to collections.
  • If the ticket goes to collections, an additional fee of up to 25% may be added, as allowed by state law.
  • If the balance remains unpaid, your vehicle may be immobilized or towed.

Parking Fines

Parking fines in the City of Bend vary based on the type of parking violation.

Meter and Overtime violations

Fines for meter and overtime parking follow the same structure:

  • Tickets start at $12
  • Increase to $25 if unpaid or uncontested after 6 days
  • Increase to $45 in unpaid or uncontested after 10 days
