Weekly Road and Traffic Report for the Week of January 19 - 25

For the Week of January 19 – 25

  • NW Bond Street between NW Greenwood Avenue and NW Wall Street for work associated with the construction of the Deschutes County Courthouse, single lane closure with lane shift, January 21, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

  • SE Daly Estates Drive between SE Reed Market Road and SE Capella Place for street infrastructure installation, full road closure with local access only, January 22 – February 27.

  • Magnolia Lane between Hearthstone Lane and Ferguson Road will have infrastructure improvements, full road closure with local access only, October 6 – January 30.

  • Butler Market Corridor ImprovementsThis project includes the design and construction of a new single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Butler Market Road and Wells Acres Road, along with pedestrian and bicycle improvements on Butler Market Road between Boyd Acres Road and Brinson Boulevard. Construction is anticipated to begin on September 22 and continue through late fall 2026.
    • Butler Market Road, between NE Brinson Boulevard and NE 8th Street, will experience a westbound lane closure with a detour in place.

  • Olney Pedestrian & Bicycle Improvements –This project is installing critical water & sewer pipe upgrades as well as transportation safety improvements along Olney Avenue. For more information.     • Olney Avenue (east of NW Wall Street to NE Second Street) will remain closed through February 2026.
    • Full closure to occur in April 2026 for 2 weeks to do final asphalt paving and striping. Closure will not occur if able to get required final asphalt.
  • NW Harriman Street between NW Kearney Avenue and NW Greenwood Avenue for infrastructure work associated with the Deschutes County Courthouse, full road closure, began July 24, 2024.

 


Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and other factors. Always exercise increased caution within construction zones. Drivers should use designated detour routes. Nearby residential streets are for local traffic only.

 

Any road closure not listed within this report, please submit a service request to notify the city of any potentially unpermitted work within City right of way. Please visit the Transportation and Mobility Department to submit.
