To apply for a Second-Hand Dealer Permit in Bend, submit a complete application with payment, provide required documents, get fingerprinted if needed, and attend an in-person appointment to finish the process.
Please Read Carefully:
- You must pay all fees when you turn in your application.
- This permit must be renewed every year unless you’re told otherwise.
- The ID card you get with this permit belongs to the City of Bend. You must return it if your status changes.
- If your application is missing information or includes false information, it may be denied or suspended.
- File this application and the required fees with the Bend Police Department.
If you are a Pawnbroker: You must show proof that you have a valid Oregon Pawnbroker License (ORS Chapter 726).
If you sell drug-related items (drug paraphernalia): You must submit an affidavit saying that none of your employees who sell these items have ever been convicted of a drug-related crime.
