Industrial Pretreatment Regulations and Permitting
The Pretreatment and Source Control Program enforces the City’s Sewer Use Ordinance, as well as state and federal regulations. This protects public health and City infrastructure by ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state environmental statutes.
Fats, Oil and Grease (FOG) Program
The Fats, Oils, and Grease Program collaborates with food service establishments and locations equipped with grease interceptors throughout Bend. This initiative aims to safeguard public health, maintain water quality, and protect the City's infrastructure.
Extra Strength Charge Program
The Extra Strength Charge Program helps ensure that businesses discharging wastewater with elevated pollutant levels pay their fair share toward treatment costs, supporting a sewer system in Bend that remains both effective and fair for all users.
