Tax Increment Assistance for Housing Affordability (TIAHA)

The Tax Increment Assistance of Housing Affordability provides new market-rate multiunit developments an annual tax reimbursement on BURA’s portion of new tax increment to provide lower market rate rents.

Tax Increment Assistance for Employment Growth (TIAEMP)

The Tax Increment Assistance for Employment Growth provides new or growing commercial and industrial businesses an annual tax reimbursement on BURA’s portion of new tax increment to provide higher wage employment opportunities.

Development Assistance

The program offers annual property tax reimbursements on BURA’s portion of the tax increment for completing approved projects and improvements. Eligible development projects include acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, grading and clearance, and infrastructure. This program is only available in the Juniper Ridge Investment Area.
