Grand Re-Opening of CET’s Hawthorne Station
Wednesday, September 15, 3 – 6 p.m.

Location: Hawthorne Station, 334 NE Hawthorne Ave, Bend
Cascade East Transit (CET) has redesigned Hawthorne Station to create a more welcoming space for transit riders. Join CET for a tour of the new facility and learn about CET's plans for future services. CET staff will provide step-by-step trip planning outside the station to encourage community members to try transit to reach their destinations in Bend and across our region. Participants will have an opportunity to provide recommendations for current and future transit services. Tote bags, LED safety lights, sunglasses, and route maps will be given to attendees. A CET bus will be on display for attendees to learn how to safely board and exit the bus, pull the cord, and load a bike on the front of the bus. Face coverings are required during the event and refreshments will be provided.

Cascade East Transit (CET) rediseñó la estación Hawthorne para crear un espacio más acogedor para quienes viajan en el transporte público. Acompañe a CET para un recorrido en las nuevas instalaciones e infórmese sobre los planes de CET para los servicios futuros. El personal de CET ofrecerá una planificación de recorrido paso a paso fuera de la estación para alentar a los miembros de la comunidad a probar el transporte público para llegar a sus destinos en Bend y en toda nuestra región. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de dar recomendaciones para los servicios de transporte actuales y futuros. Quienes asistan recibirán bolsos, luces LED de seguridad, gafas de sol y mapas de ruta. Un autobús de CET estará en exhibición para que los asistentes sepan cómo subir y bajar del autobús en forma segura, cómo tirar de la cuerda y cargar una bicicleta en el frente del autobús. Durante el evento se exige el uso de cubiertas para la cara. Se darán refrigerios.
