In these uncertain times, communities of color, immigrants, and other marginalized groups need support they can count on. But how can well-meaning folks move from good intentions to concrete actions of solidarity? This workshop — facilitated by a diverse group of equity facilitators including liliana cabrera, Kerani Mitchell, and Erin Rook — will explore the social systems that shape how we interact with race and other differences; engage participants in meaningful reflection on how they interact with these systems; and provide tools and strategies for supporting people of color, immigrants, and others with marginalized identities.
This workshop is designed for those who have already engaged in some education and/reflection on racism, but all are welcome.
