DESCRIPTION:<p>Captain Brian Beekman from Bend PD, and David Abbas, director of the Transportation and Mobility Department, will address traffic congestion and safety.</p><p> City of Bend COO, Russ Grayson, and director of Risk &amp; Emergency Management Carrie Karl will address the status of evacuation planning as well as wildfire mitigation and safety efforts as included in Council Goals for FY26-27.</p><p>The meeting is open to all ABNA Members.</p><hr><p>The Bend Neighborhood Districts (commonly known as Neighborhood Associations) are recognized in&nbsp;<a href="https://bend.municipal.codes/BC/1.70" target="_blank">Bend Code Chapter 1.70 Neighborhood Associations</a>. Neighborhood Districts maintain and improve the quality of life in Bend, increase community member participation in local decision making, and form an effective partnership between the City and neighborhood residents. There are 13 Neighborhood Districts that are recognized by the Bend City Council.
