• Land Use Hearings (quasi-judicial or legislative)
• System Development Charges (SDCs)
Procedures and Expectations - What to expect (1 hour)
• Role of individual Councilor; member of a group
• Communication with other Councilors, staff, public, media
• Participation on intergovernmental committees
• Liaison to neighborhood associations
• Liaison to advisory boards
• Partnerships with other agencies/shared services
Council Goals (15 min.)
Reflection on Orientation (30 min.)
